A combination of US, Canadian, and European bloodlines, the A litter of Practicalcats has finally graced us with their presence! Parfait is a lovely girl with a great head, amazingly dark eyes, and quite a nice body. Balance has huge ears, a very wide ear set, fantastic green eyes and a body that goes on for miles.
Even more importantly, Balance has a world-wide fan club of people who love his amazing temperament, ridiculous friendliness, and completely unflappability in the face of nearly everything. He's notorious for being held upside down at cat shows and brings love everywhere he goes. Parfait is a sweet girl that we've gotten to know a little later in her life, and the litter mate of Stephanie's beloved Jellylorum. These kittens have a lot of love and a lot of lovely cats behind them!
Parfait went into labour two days late, after demanding her fair share of belly rubs, and took her sweet time in presenting us with four beautiful big baby kittens over the span of nine hours. She is a great mother, attentive and dutiful, and the kittens are growing minute by minute.
We've given them A names for now -- new owners can name them whatever they'd like in the future.
This litter has a Coefficient of Inbreeding of 0.0977% over 10 generations. COI is important to determine the likelihood of the more frequent surfacing of disease genes and of the syndrome called "inbreeding depression" which produces weaker individuals. A COI of 1% or lower is generally considered ideal.
Kittens that are marked "OPTION" are likely to be reserved, but no final decision has been made. Reservations are taken no earlier than 4 weeks, and kittens that are marked "RESERVED" are no longer available. If for any reason a kitten becomes available again after an initial reservation, it will be re-listed as "AVAILABLE".

The very first one to purr, she spends half her time playing like crazy, and half her time cuddling up with people. She's extremely social and very people oriented, but also loves to play with the other cats. An exceptionally well balanced kitten, both in personality and in structure.
Sweeter than sugar, and just as addictive, this big boy is a super cuddly, super social kitten, who takes after his father and grandfather in both looks and personality. He's always ready to curl up in someone's lap, or play games with someone, or just stare at them with big sweet eyes.
The eternal diva, she's pretty sure that the world should revolve around her. She's very willing to do whatever it is that you want her to do... as long as she thinks it was her idea. She's extremely playful and extremely good with her siblings and her mother, and loves exploring and climbing and moving. Not as big of a lap cat as her siblings, she's still very happy to interact with people.
The observer, the thinker, the genius. Alfred watches the world through thoughtful eyes and seems to be considering everything. He loves to play, he loves to cuddle in the lap, and he loves to interact with people. He has a sweet, old soul tempered with a lot of kittenish joy.
